righteous words and righteous deeds

We, the children of God, must not imitate this evil world, but should make known the good teachings of God to the world. We must lead the people of the world so they can live the right way with the good conscience that God gave to them.

The reason why the ocean where all the water of the world flows into does not become polluted is because of the 3% of salt. We must be like the salt of the world through our good words and good deeds.

Mt 5:13~16 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?…You are the light of the world…In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

We must first show an example of our good appearance to the people of the world and lead them to the right way. In a letter to the saints of the Church of God in Rome, the apostle Paul wrote, “I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,…Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rm 12:1~2)

To be a living sacrifice pleasing to God, we must live a holy life. We must not follow the world but discern what God’s good and pleasing will is. The Word of God recorded in the Bible that is, God’s commandments, not a single one should be taken lightly.

1Timothy 6:18-19 “Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

Romans 13:8-10 “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”

Evil things happen because there is no love. Evil behavior begins with words. Let us speak good words, positive words following the teachings of God. Where there are good words, there are good deeds, and where there are good deeds, a good character can grow.

We must follow the holy will as God has taught us and set us an example of. Jesus preached the gospel by doing good deeds (Acts 10:32-42). If we do not have good words, good deeds and a good character, can the words we deliver be sown on good soil?

As Heavenly Mother preaches, She helps people, embraces many souls and sets an example of doing good deeds. Let us be transformed to have a personality resembling God’s and be the salt and the light of the world.
