Why Does Man Not Remember His Previous Life?

In the book ‘Visitors from the angelic world,’ written by Christ Ahnsahnghong, it explains the reason why people do not remember their previous life. It says that “When a spiritual being puts on flesh, the spiritual memory of the previous life is completely lost and a physical intelligence develops.”

According to Christ Ahnsahnghong’s book “Visitors from the Angelic World” all people were noble angels in the kingdom of heaven. However, they committed sin and were cast down to the earth – the city of refuge, a spiritual prison. On earth if a person sins and commits a crime, they will be confined in prison, and all things like freedom to come and go as they please, being able to see their family, which is a given, is cut off. It is the same for our soul.

The Bible records that although we were originally princes and princesses of heaven, we committed sin and were cast down to this world and everything of heaven was cut off. So people worry about things like ‘how can I live a better life?’ on the earth rather than the life in heaven and ultimately they are destined to everlasting destruction because the wages of sin is death. Christ Ahnsahnghong had pity on His children who were living like this and taught us the way to go back to the kingdom of heaven again.

2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved…and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Worldly honor, wealth and fame cannot lead us to the kingdom of heaven. Those things come and go, they are temporary and momentary. Therefore the direction of our life must be toward ‘heaven’. In order to do that we must do our best to be of service to God and wholeheartedly offer our hearts to God. It means we must put more importance on heavenly things while thinking of God rather than on earthly desires.

Galatians 5:16~23 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature… the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,… gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

In order to return to heaven, we must act like the children of God. On this earth there are things like quarreling, sexual immorality, idolatry, conflict, jealousy, etc, but you cannot find these things in heaven. Therefore, if you hope to go on the path to heaven, you must get rid of your earthly desires and live by the Spirit, that is, for the heavenly things. Love, joy, peace, gentleness and self-control all belong to the heavenly things.

Colossians 3:1 you have been raised with Chirst, set your hearts on things above,

If we understand the reality that we were noble angels, our original identity in the kingdom of heaven, we will put our hope in the world God has prepared for us rather than the life on this earth.

The size of the Earth we live in is very small. There are about 200 billion stars in our galaxy, which are thousands of times bigger than the Earth. The surprising thing is scientists say that there are about 200 billion galaxies like our galaxy; truly the universe is a vast and large space. Christ Ahnsahnghong said, “When we go back to our spiritual hometown, the everlasting kingdom of heaven, we will travel the universe.” Only those who long for the heavenly things, keep God’s commandments and repent of their sins will be given such glory.
