Repentance means turning our sinful mind that was towards the world and converting it to the God’s world of grace. Repentance, the teaching of the Church of God Every year during the prayer week of the Day of Atonement, the members of the Church of God have time to repent of their sins before God. The Bible says that salvation is given to those who confess their sins to God and that God sees them as beautiful. Luke 15:11-20 “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them… the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need… When he came to his senses… Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son… So he got up and went to his father… his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” In the parable Jesus said the father did not rebuke or scold the son for the errors of his past. Rather, he embraced his son who returned home saying, “This son of mine was dead and is alive again,” put a ring on his finger and gave a big feast. He was so pleased that his son had repented and come back (Luke 15:22-27). Like in the parable, God views the people who repent as beautiful. We must always remember when we repent and are sorry for the sins we committed in the past before God the gracious result of salvation will be waiting for us. The way to repent completely in the age of the Holy Spirit Revelation 22:17 “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.” The last book of the Bible, Revelation, tells us in detail whom humankind must go to, to fulfill true repentance. Apostle John recorded that we, who are living in the age of the Holy Spirit, can be saved when we go to the Spirit and the Bride, that is God the Father and God the Mother. Behind the words, “Come and receive the water of life,” that God the Father and God the Mother said to humankind, it also contains the meaning that our salvation and repentance is fulfilled when we live a life of faith in Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. The Church of God believes in God the Father and God the Mother who have come as the Saviors in the age of the Holy Spirit according to the teachings of the Bible. Let us turn from our wrong thoughts and deeds of the past in which we denied the existence of God the Mother with the fixed idea that God is only one, so that we can go out to God the Mother testified in the Bible. Let us also confess of all our sins we had committed in the past. Those who do that God will view as beautiful. Share on ... Google+ Twitter LinkedIn Facebook Pinterest Telegram Log In
